What is the mission of PftK? (Presbyterians for the Kingdom)

Our goal is to keep our denomination, the PCUSA, alive for the next generation. We believe the current collapse of the PCUSA is in part due to unfaithfulness to Christ and abandonment of sound theology by many parts of the denomination. We wish to transform the PCUSA to make it a mighty cathedral of Biblical, Confessional, Reformed theology once again. We have a passionate vision for the future of the PCUSA so we are not going to give up on it and watch it fall apart.

Is PftK conservative, fundamentalist,  traditionalist, etc?

Presbyterians for the Kingdom is first and foremost committed to Christ and obedience to His Word in the Reformed tradition. We take "traditional" stances that could be called "conservative" but what we are is reunionist. We seek unity amongst all Presbyterians around our Confessions, we support efforts to bring the offshoots back into the fold, and oppose radical measures on either side that will further divide the church.

Why doesn't PftK just join ECO, EPC, or PCA?

While we share similar concerns about the direction of the PCUSA as ECO and EPC did, we are not schismatics or separatists. We are firmly committed to the mainline PCUSA and to the unity of the Presbyterian church. Even if we don't agree with many of the decisions of General Assembly in recent years, we will never choose to schism from the PCUSA as a result, but instead prayerfully work for its restoration.
